Blue lagoon – Sivota

Blue lagoon-Sivota

A cure for the blues!

Α wonderful multi stop route begins from the port of Corfu following the coastline of the island to the port of Lefkimmi. After an immediate boarding we head out to the mainland of Greece.

Our first stop, as we approach Sivota, is at the famous cave of Papanikolis, where the homonymous submarine found refuge in World War II. Short stop, so to seize the opportunity to take unique photos of the impressive cave!

Leaving behind the stalactites cave, we set off for the fascinating bay of ‘Pisina’, where the famous film ‘Blue Lagoon’ was filmed. Sailing through the scattered islands of Sivota, which reminiscent of Norwegian fjords, the ‘Blue Lagoon’ appears in front of our eyes! An hour stop to enjoy the emerald crystalline waters is offered.

We set sail for our last stop, the seaside village of Sivota!

A curved bay and many green islands embrace the settlement, which is situated on the northwest coastline of mainland Epirus, overlooking the blue of the Ionian Sea. Three hours free to wander around, shop or have lunch in a traditional tavern.
