Homemade Saponification and Cosmetics (private tour)

Your skin deserves the best!

Our excursion starts with a visit to an organic farm. It is an ideal ecotourism destination in Corfu, ready to let us get close to nature and meet rare species of flora and fauna that live at the wetland of a lake, at the southern part of Corfu.

Once we arrive in the farm we’ll have the chance to indulge in saponification for about an hour. We all care about what we eat, trying to stay healthy and strong. Equally important for our body however, are the products that we put on our skin. In this unique workshop we’ll show you how to make natural and organic toothpaste, deodorant, therapeutic beeswax body or face creams, just by using traditional recipes! Making use of environmental friendly ingredients, which can be found in our kitchen or garden, our aim, is to learn how to make easily green, healthy and sustainable cosmetics at home, for ourselves and our loved ones!

After this exquisite experience, we will have two hours free to enjoy a sandy beach that stretches for more than 2,5 km and is considered one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the Ionian complex . The sand dunes, the wonderful crystalline waters, the unique natural landscape with the colors and the odors of the lake, one of the main attractions of the area which is the home for numerous endangered bird species, will just leave us breathless!

Then we will return to the farm to enjoy our meal in an organic restaurant, which is located inside the farm. They cook traditional Greek and Corfiot dishes with the classical way of cooking, using only organic ingredients from the farm or from local certificated producers.
